Monique and Tom have been together for nearly 15 years! Their closest friends and family joined them at the Campagna Center in Alexandria. It’s such a cool building with a great mission.
The weather held out long enough for a sweet ceremony in the garden next to the building and a few formal pictures. Then in hailed, but I think all the guests were too busy enjoying the party to notice!
Much of Monique’s family is from Trinidad and Tobago and everyone was dancing to the sounds of Bob Marley, one of my favorites. After lots of dancing (Monique and Tom are really good salsa dancers!) there was yummy cake, more dancing, and yes, even more dancing. By the time we got on the Dash Bus back to the hotel, I was sure everyone would be exhausted, but the party kept going!
Monique and Tom, I wish you best and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. Enjoy your honeymoon in Thailand (one of my fave places on Earth!) and keep in touch!
