Katelyn + Kyle got married with a ceremony and reception at The Inn at Brookeville Farms in Brookeville, Maryland. I enjoyed this wedding for many reasons, but mainly because Katelyn and Kyle let their geekiness out to play! Everything was very thought out and while each element was playful, it had a meaning. From her gorgeous origami bouquet to her cake topper to a science experiment during the ceremony, these two thought of everything!
My favorite things about this wedding were:
• Katelyn wearing her fencing shoes!
• They had their guests throw paper airplanes at them on their way back down the aisle after they said their “I dos”
• The guests, who were mostly from out of town, all got to try Smith Island Cake, a Maryland tradition. (a very delicious tradition!)
