I have some exciting news!
Doors of Frederick is my personal photo project for 2016.
When I moved to Frederick in 2008, I instantly fell in love with the people and homes of Downtown Frederick. I’ve wanted to do a photo project for a long time, but wasn’t quite sure how or what.
This fall my husband Joe and I were walking our dogs downtown and I kept ooh-ing and ahhhh-ing over the colorful front doors. He told me instead of drooling over them I should just photograph them. Well, OK!
When I do a project, it’s a “Go big or go home” deal. So I’m not just taking some photos of doors and posting every once in awhile- I am posting a door a day. That’s 366 doors! (Thanks, leap year!)
