Sarah & Ross

Sarah and Ross are the perfect example of clients becoming good friends.
Yesterday was so amazing.  It started at the Gaylord National Harbor.  They had such a nice suite in this new hotel to get ready in.  I enjoyed meeting all of Sarah’s bridesmaids and friends.  For some reason, I felt like I had known these girls forever- that’s such a good feeling!
Once hair was done, we headed to the Newton White Mansion where Laura from Soiree was already getting everything in perfect order.  She always is dressed soooo cute and has everything together.  She’s also a college friend of Sarah, so that was an added bonus!
So many emotions yesterday!  Excitement, nervousness, and sadness that some family couldn’t be there.  I felt it all too, which is why I’m exhausted today!
The ceremony was beautiful, even if it was in direct sun 🙂  They wrote their own vows which were sweet and so personal.  I’m glad I heard Sarah practicing in the car on the way over or I might have cried again!
After the ceremony, we did some quick family portraits and then headed in for the lunch reception.  I love afternoon weddings because I never have to use my flash!  I never even pulled it out of my bag all day- I love days like that!
When the reception ended, we weren’t done!  Sarah and Ross had the awesome idea of renting a limo and cruising the city for places to do photos- a DREAM for photographers!  Needless to say, I was so excited as the three of us got into the limo.  Sarah, being the amazingly thoughtful person she is, had snacks waiting for me- my favorite, root beer and chocolate covered pretzels.  Did I tell you that I love my couples?! 🙂
We had so much stinkin’ fun!
I love the getting ready rooms at Newton White!
A photo of Sarah’s Grandpa… it was hard to take this one, but I’m glad I did
