Potomac Institute’s Navigator Awards

I don’t do a lot of “grip-n-grin” events anymore, mostly because weddings have taken over my life, but it’s always nice to switch it up and do something different.

The Potomac Institute is a very cool place, and this was the 3rd year that I have photographed this event. The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies is an independent, not-for-profit public policy research institute. The Institute identifies and aggressively shepherds discussion on key science, technology, and national security issues facing our society, providing in particular, an academic forum for the study of related policy issues.

The Navigator Awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to further science and technology policy development in the United States.
It’s a very nice evening with some of the most forward thinking minds in government and beyond. It’s always great to hear the speeches and mingle with some of our country’s best.
Thanks to Stephanie, Kathryn, Janelle, and Faith for showing me the VIPs and making the evening a fun one to photograph.
