Lorrie & Scott- Arlington, Virginia

Oh, Lorrie and Scott. I could gush about them all day.

It all started when I did their engagement photos at the Cherry Blossoms very early in the morning last year. The thing that struck me was how Lorrie touched his face. It was just so sweet and I couldn’t wait until their wedding.

Fast forward twelve months to an exquisite day. Perfect weather, perfect bride and groom, and amazing views of city. Yeah, I love my job 🙂

Lorrie looked like J-Lo, but 100 times better. Seriously! She looked a-ma-zing. Her hair and makeup, the dress, the shoes… wowza! She also had some great bridesmaids who made the getting ready part of the day a lot of fun.

I also have to say that Lorrie’s sister is the Martha Stewart of Baltimore! She made the bouquets, a charm cake, knew all the weddings traditions and gave a speech that didn’t leave a dry eye in the house. Must be nice to have a sister like that!

After the ceremony, we hopped in the limo (which is a ride none of us will ever forget!) and took some pictures around DC before heading to the reception at Top of the Town. There is no better view of the city- it’s just incredible.

There was dancing, toasts (that made me cry!), good food, and amazing cake and cupcakes. The cake was sooo cool. It was a Gator cake, that they had shipped from Seattle- how cool is that?! The cupcakes were from Baltimore Cupcake Company and were sooooo good.

Everyone danced, enjoyed the outside balcony, and had a great time. I loved photographing this wedding! (And thanks to Tracy for swinging by the reception and helping me out!)

Lorrie & Scott- you both are incredible! Thanks so much for letting me be part of your love story. And have a blast on your honeymoon in a few weeks- to Southeast Asia- I’m so jealous!

I could blog EVERY SINGLE PICTURE from yesterday, but since that would take forever, here are just a few…

can you believe her sister did the flowers?!

The charm cake- so cute!

We attempted to get all of the guests in a photo!

Lorrie’s parents celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary last night- congrats!

I thought this was so fun!

Thanks again, guys! (Lorrie, Me, Scott, and Tracy)
