I don’t even know where to start with this one!
Kim and Scott are two special people with very close friends and family. This wedding was so special, and I know Jaime and I both felt honored to be a part of it.
Kim is one of the funniest and coolest brides I’ve ever worked with. She was up for anything and everything, and just loved trying new things. Her bridesmaids looked on as she jumped through the weeds and fields… before the ceremony! We got some great shots, though!
Middleburg, Virginia is such a neat little town. Everyone is so nice, walking their dogs, and enjoying a meal at the local deli. This reminded me of my Midwestern roots, and I was so glad to see that in less than an hour’s drive from DC I can find a little slice of home… I’ll be back for sure!
After doing some formals of the guys and gals, we headed up the hill for the ceremony. It was a hot one, but Kim & Scott had water bottles (printed with their names and wedding date!) waiting for all the guests.
The ceremony was short but very sweet. We did a few more formals, but very quickly- they wanted to get the party started!
And what a party it was! It looked like everyone was having a good time- from the little ones to the grandparents. I loved the mashed potato bar and the pasta bar… and I can’t forget the candy bar and the chocolate fountain!
Kim and Scott, it was so great to be a part of your very special day- I wish you the best and have a great time next week on your European honeymoon!
