Keri & Jonathon- Germantown, Maryland

Eco-Friendly meets Super Sweet.
Keri and Jonathon had a beautiful environmentally friendly wedding yesterday at Bretton Woods.  Sadly, mother nature had the idea of raining all day, so the ceremony had to be inside, but that’s OK, it was great nonetheless!  The steel drum band, Panquility, played- I love them!  They are so talented!
Keri did an awesome job planning everything- from the ribbon on the programs and favors (raffia), to the food (all in season), to her dress- everything was biodegradable, recycled (the dress was a friends dress she had altered!) or earth-friendly.  I thought it was great!
Luckily the rain held off just long enough after the ceremony to get some shots of the two of them enjoying the outdoors before it began to rain yet again.
The party rocked!  Everyone danced and laughed and had a good time.  So many smiles and hugs!  Style Band played great live music the entire time and hammered out all the good ones.
A big thank you to Kim, Keri’s cousin/coordinator who was so awesome and helpful, and to Kip Pierson, my second shooter.
K&J, it was an honor to be a part of your day!  Enjoy your honeymoon in Turks & Caicos!
I loved Keri’s laugh and smile- so natural and sweet- and totally contagious!
This was inbetween formal family portraits, which we had to do inside because it was storming-
Jonathon’s grandma was a total riot!
Surprise groom’s cake!
Grandma rocking out with the band at the end of the night!
