I won’t pretend to know or understand everything- but what I do know is that I will always support and celebrate my LGBTQ+ clients and their right to live as their authentic selves.
It’s been really disheartening to hear such hateful, ugly rhetoric lately and to see companies, big and small, back away from their once vocal support for the gay community.
That won’t be me.
In my 19 years in business I’ve thankfully only had two clients cancel sessions because I photograph gay marriages and families. (I happily took their non-refundable deposits and made donations to 🌈 organizations 🥰)
I serve everyone and take my responsibility of documenting families, people and businesses, many whom are vastly different from me, very seriously. It means a lot to be entrusted with documenting precious memories, many of which can be incredibly intimate & raw. When people share their lives & loved ones with me, even if it’s just for 30 minutes, it’s so special. I have the most amazing, unique, interesting and inspiring clients.
Thank you for teaching me, correcting me when I get it wrong, and letting me document your beautiful life ♥️🧡💛💚💙💜
