Frederick’s most popular First Saturday event is back! On Saturday, February 2, the streets of Downtown Frederick will be lined with ice sculptures, warm treats, and entertainment for the whole family.
First Saturday means late-night shopping and dining, live music on the street, and a free trolley to guide your way! During February First Saturday, experience the magic of winter with ice sculptures, live carving demos, fire dancers and an Ice Bar on the Creek. Whether you’ve lived here for years, or you’re a first time visitor, First Saturdays are a great time to discover something new about Downtown Frederick.
Fire and Ice in Downtown Frederick used to be very popular… and now it’s INSANELY popular! This year they blocked off Market Street so attendees could walk in the streets and see the ice sculptures. It was absolutely wild, but so much fun. With a five month old, we weren’t able to stay out late to see much of the “fire” part of event, but it was still a lot of fun. I absolutely love living in Frederick!
