To say this week has been rough is the understatement of the summer.
Monday I felt like I’d been run over by a truck- two doubleheader wedding weekends in a row had taken its toll.
But yesterday I got to do something really fun, and it instantly lifted my spirits. My neighbors in the office building, Asparagus Media, asked me to photograph their studio for some promo stuff. Since I love their space so much, I leaped at the chance. Jaime was also in my office (it’s a lot more fun to edit thousands of wedding photos with a friend!) and she came too, with her camera, of course!
Asparagus has a beautiful space and one room in particular caught my eye. But the empty stool with a gold mic and lovely guitars surrounding it seemed lonely. So I made Jaime get in there, and pretend to be a rock star. While Jaime *is* a rock star at photography, I cannot say the same for her singing skills. Luckily for you, my photos below don’t have sound. 🙂
Obviously, the shoot was a blast. Steve Steckler and Fritz Stolzenbach, the owners of Asparagus Media, made the shoot a lot of fun. I’m so glad these guys are my neighbors- love all that creative energy!
