Oh, the Stilling Family!
I just absolutely adore this family. I have been photographing them for 10 years and every session is more joyful than the next! If you’ve never seen the video they did with me a few years ago, it’s worth a watch!
Sarah and Ross and Sarah’s mom came out to Walkersville, Maryland to do a session in a country setting. The weather was absolutely perfect and we had so much fun!
The kids were in great spirits which gave us plenty of time to try a variety of poses and places in the park. Sarah is a smart one- lots of treats and snuggles from Grandma made the session go even smoother.
While I love color photos, this family is just meant for black and white images- I don’t know why- maybe it’s because they are so full of expressions and that’s my favorite way to document big smiles and laughs.
Thank you so much, Stilling Family, for coming back year after year to have me photograph your story. I know I say this a lot, but it’s really true- following families on their journeys is such an honor and privilege. It is so humbling to continue to be asked to photograph milestones.
