Brienne & Steve- Chevy Chase, Maryland

Purdue, a beautiful fall day, and pumpkin ravioli… those are the things I’ll remember the most from Saturday! 🙂
Brienne and Steve are both engineers.  They both went to Purdue.  They are also both crazy in love!  I felt right at home with their friends and family- maybe because everyone was from the midwest- yay yay!
We started out the day at the Bethesda Hyatt while everyone got ready for the big day.  It was a laid-back, no-stress afternoon, which was awesome!  Once everyone was ready, we headed to Rockville to do some photos at the Rockville Civic Center before the ceremony.  After hitting up Rockville, we headed back to Bethesda to catch lunch, then hopped in our cars for the short trip to the Woodend.
If you’ve been following my blog for any amount of time, you know I looooove the Woodend.  It’s beautiful, everyone is so nice, and it’s a whole two minutes from my home.  So yeah, I dig it 🙂
We got to do some nice photos there before the ceremony, and then it was time for Brienne and Steve to hide away while guests arrived.  Everyone was so kind and sweet, and the ceremony was lovely.
Then it was time for a cocktail hour, a VERY VERY VERRRRRY tasty dinner (pumpkin ravioli, people- pumpkin ravioli!!!) and lots of dancing.  All in all, a heck of a fall wedding, and a perfect way for Brienne and Steve to share their love with the most important people in their lives.  I am honored that I was able to be a part of it.
I want to thank my 2nd shooter, Kip Pierson, for all his hard work on Saturday.  He’s crazy fun and also a great shooter.  We had a blast!
I promise to post the slideshow soon!!
Rockin’ Vendors:
+ Lauren Freeman, coordinator- Breathe Events
+ Emily Forrester- Premiere Makeup (she’s my fave!)
+ Kara Breissinger- hair
+ Danielle Couick- Windows Catering (also one of my faves!  Danielle is fantastic!)
How sassy are Brienne’s purple shoes?!
A Purdue garter, of course
Their “first sight” was really cool and different.
Brienne had one of her bridesmaids cover Steve’s eyes as she walked up.
So sweet!
I was diggin’ b&w on Saturday with these two
The grove at The Woodend… amazingly gorgeous.
I love this one… practicing their first dance!  So sweet!
Soooo beautiful!
Beautiful details!
First dance… so lovely!
The flower girl was toooo cute and wanted to dance with Steve
I’m not sure what this is all about!
Usually the last photo of the night is me and my 2nd shooter and the B & G, but Saturday others wanted to join in!  Love it 🙂
